Frequently asked questions
What container sizes do you supply?
We stock 3m (10ft), 6m (20ft) and 12m (40ft) units in standard and high cube heights, plus refrigerated, open-side and converted units.
Are the containers new or used?
Both. New (one-trip) units have minimal wear and a fresh paint finish. Used units are wind and watertight but show surface rust and dents consistent with shipping service. The condition is stated on every product page.
Can you modify a container for my application?
Yes. Our workshop fits doors, windows, insulation, electrics, partitioning, ablutions, kitchens and shelving, and paints to your corporate colours. Send us a layout or a description and we will quote it line by line.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is quoted per order based on destination, offload method and site access. Tell us the delivery address when you request a quote and the transport figure is included in writing.
What access does the delivery truck need?
Firm level standing and roughly three times the container length of clear straight space for a tilt-tray to offload. Flag soft sand, steep gradients, narrow gates and overhead cables in advance so we can send the right vehicle or arrange a crane.
How long does an order take?
Stock items usually dispatch within 2 to 5 working days of cleared payment. Conversions run 2 to 4 weeks depending on the specification.
How do I pay?
EFT into our business bank account. A pro forma invoice with banking details is issued with your quote; goods are released once payment reflects.
Do you deliver outside KwaZulu-Natal?
Yes, we deliver to all nine provinces from our Durban base, and cross-border on request.
Is there a warranty?
Conversion workmanship is warranted by us. Equipment such as inverters, batteries, panels and refrigeration units carries the manufacturer's warranty, which we administer on your behalf.
